Collection, processing and use of personal data
 
The legal basis for the collection, storage and processing of personal data can be found in particular in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz - BDSG). Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR). This includes in particular names, address data, telephone numbers or e-mail addresses. However, information about preferences, memberships or, for example, previously visited websites can also represent personal data.
 
Contact us
 
If you contact us (e.g. by e-mail), the data you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for the possible processing of follow-up questions. The legal basis for the processing is the necessity for the performance of a or in order to take steps at your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (b) GDPR. The data collected in this context will be deleted after storage is no longer required or processing will be restricted if there are legal storage obligations.
 
Use of the online platform
 
In order to use the Foresight Academy website or the online platform provided, a user account must be registered. User accounts are always created in connection to the e-mail addresses provided by the specific users, which are transmitted to us during the registration process. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 (b) GDPR. 
 
We will delete this data as soon as it is no longer needed to provide the user account. To prevent unauthorized access to your personal data by third parties, the registration and login process is encrypted.  Your data will not be used in any other way, for example for advertising purposes.
 
Rights of the data subject
 
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
 
- Right to access and information,
- Right to rectification or erasure (‘right to be forgotten’),
- Right to restriction of processing,
- Right to object to processing of personal data,
- Right to data portability.
 
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.

We would like to point out that you can withdraw any consent you may have given to the processing of your data at any time. However, your withdrawal has no legal influence on data processing that has already taken place, but is effective only for the future.

Balancing of interests is carried out in particular if the processing is not necessary for the performance of a contract with you. In the event of a justified objection, we will examine the facts and either discontinue or adapt the data processing or point out our compelling reasons worthy of protection on the basis of which we will continue the processing.

Passing on to third parties 
 
We will only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the respective Project Partner Contract. The legal basis for the transfer is the necessity to perform a contract pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) GDPR. We have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with our technical service provider, incca GmbH, Rathausstraße 4, 83022 Rosenheim, Germany, who provides hosting, operation and maintenance of the website on our behalf. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes without your express consent.  
 
Log files
 
Each time you visit our website, information is stored in a so-called log file by our hosting provider. These log files contain information about the date and time of the website visit, files or pages retrieved, status codes and system information such as your browser, operating system, language and version of the browser interface. This data does not allow any direct identification of the specific person.
 
Furthermore, IP addresses are stored in log files. For us, these cannot be related to a specific person without involvement of third parties such as law enforcement authorities.
 
We collect the aforementioned data which is technically necessary for us to display our website and to guarantee stability and security. The legal basis for the processing is the necessity for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR.
